The island of Saaremaa

1 st Day
After arrival in Tallinn we continue to Virtsu harbour and cross the sea by ferry( 20 min.). Muhu is the first island – small Koguva fishing village has kept
its traditional sights dating from the 16th century : wooden houses with roofs of reed, surrounded by limestone walls, age-old boats.The trip to the main island Saaremaa continues over the 3,6 km long dam. The capital of Saaremaa is Kuressaare , which is famous as a SPA resort.
Dinner and overnight at the seaside hotel.

2 nd Day
During the sightseeing tour we will see the numerous of sights of Saaremaa: Angla windmill hill, church of Karja, Mihkli Farm House, famous meteorite crater-lake in Kaali. Lunch in Kaali.
The most important tourist sight is the very well preserved Bishop Castle from the 13th century. The castle is unique in the Baltic countries. Kuressaare is also known for its beautiful old town.
Sour-sweet bread, beer and windmills are the symbols of Saaremaa.

3 rd Day
Free morningtime for leisure. Afternoon departure for Tallinn.
